# Describe it. AI drafts it. Your client signs it. > Run a law practice with AI: matters, hearings, documents, time tracking and billing, with the firm, its clients and its deadlines in one workspace. URL: https://nexly.technology/legal-practice-software The legal workspace keeps matters, hearings, documents, time and billing together, drafts from your own templates, and files the signed PDF back onto the matter with a certificate. ## Capabilities - Matter and case management, with a board per practice area - Hearing calendars, court diary and deadline rules - AI drafting, e-signature and the signed PDF filed to the matter - Time tracking, invoices, pre-bill review and legal billing - Client and trust accounts with reconciliation - Client portal, intake, conflict checks and sanctions screening ## Questions ### Is client data kept separate? Yes. Matters are scoped to the firm and its clients, with an audit trail over every access and change. ### What happens after a client signs? A sealed PDF becomes the document’s next version: the agreed text, the signature, and a certificate naming the signer, the time, the IP, the device and the SHA-256 of the version that was signed. ### Can a document change after it is sent for signature? No. The request pins the version and its hash, and signing is refused if the document changed, so a signer always signs exactly what they were sent. ### Is this a qualified electronic signature? No. Advocate provides simple electronic signatures, typed or drawn, with an audit trail. For transactions that legally require an advanced or qualified signature, use a qualified provider. --- See also: https://nexly.technology/llms.txt
